SUMMER IN THE CITY

Well, summer is here (kinda) and I've been too busy to do any blogging, but I'm gonna try and play catch up a little bit. In late May early June Kristen and I went on a full tourist trip to NYC. We had an amazing time...we kind of switched back and forth between our two main interests there...one day we would go see art and the next we would go shopping and so on...all the while seeing the sights of the city and eating the phenomenal delights that it has to offer! Here are a few quick photos from our trip.

THE ART OF AARON NAGEL

I've recently been checking out Aaron Nagel's artwork...he's been around for a while but I only found out about how serious this guys painting skills are in the last 6 months or so. I don't really know all that much about him other than that he paints the figure like a mad man! Then come to find out I'm in a show with him in London, England next month!!! His blog is filled with images of his and other artists work and a few art tips for oil painters too.

Here's links to his website and blog...check him out...you won't be disappointed.

HERE WE GO!

OK...so I've been reading a ton of blogs lately and it's inspired me to do one of my own...I guess I'll start by putting links to two of my main inspirations...my friend Kate does an AMAZING blog about fashion called The Fur Coat she also puts some music and art stuff in there too.

The other blog that's got me going on this is by artist Robert Mars...It's called Ghosts Of The Great Highway...He makes very cool art too...Here's a look.

Here's his website too...check him out!
